"Monumental Coins" by Marvin Tameanko.
Some of the world's most inspiring edifices spring to life in
this special book from Marvin Tameanko. This unique study offers a

Thus, the coins are not only valuable for their collectibility, but also for the
rich archaeological record they preserve.
In addition to explaining what the coins portray, this book
explores "why", revealing the cultural and political forces that shaped both the
coins and the architecture. A comprehensive gallery of actual coin photos is
augmented by line drawings of coins that reveal fine structural details.
Computer generated plans of the buildings, along with freehand illustrations of
building reconstructions allow full understanding of these ancient wonders.
